Spring Entrance

Sitting on the park bench because Spring has begun! Though I can’t hear the birds sing, instead I just watch them slowly wash up to the bench. I look up and only see the grey sky and the cold harsh buckets of rain being poured out from the stuffed clouds. Ah the noise of rain is a beautiful noise, especially with the essence of drowned pigeons added.

Hi my name is Richie Davidson. I am a man who was born to hate everything in the world. There are lots of complicated details on my past but all you need to know is that from the moment I was brought into this world I had a grudge. I didn’t want to be born into such a horrible place and it was my best bets to off myself. After many incidents such as throwing myself in front of a lawnmower, calling a gang some names and jumping off a seven-foot bouncy castle, I gave up and instead decided to spite the world and relish in its misery. I got a job as a bodyguard and I’m happy as can be punching the pathetic thugs who try to off him and spending my free time looking at funny cat pictures on the internet. Continue reading

I Love You Phillip Morris

A true story, it really happened. After watching it I found it hard to believe but after some research it really did! Shows truth can be stranger than fiction. Gay romance and fraud ahoy!

I Love You Phillip Morris is the story of a guy who has a perfect life, beautiful wife, a daughter, job as a policeman, it’s all dandy. He does have two secrets however. One he is adopted and doesn’t know his true mother and two, he’s gay. And after a terrible car crash he reveals this secret to the world and quickly gains a boyfriend. But the idea is that being gay is pricey and the way he makes money is to fool people, accidents, multiple credit cards with fake I’Ds, the works. All for the luxurious life being gay demands. Until he’s caught and thus the real story begins. A romantic comedy of two men in jail. Continue reading

Assassin’s Creed II: Battle Of Forli, Secret Temples and Bonfire Of The Vanities DLC

When you really enjoy a game it is always nice to have that little bit more to buy later on, more game! Assassin Creed II delivers with two chapters and three temples though if you bought the special editions the temples would have been there and the two chapters were ripped out of the game and then made DLC. Cheeky though the price for all the DLC is pretty good value at 320 ms points per chapter and 560 ms points for one chapter with temples. So how are they? Continue reading

My Eye

Sometimes my eyes wander to the left and to the right of the room. Someone may be talking to me or a class could be going on. Maybe even just walking down the street. But something else has my attention and it isn’t a bunch of daydreams. It is the large squiggle I see in my right eye. I even close my left eye to get a clear view so people end up thinking I’m winking. Continue reading

Twisted Pop Chapter 9.5: Recap

Previously on Twisted Pop!

The city is twisted surrounded by desert. Buildings are build up and trains travel underground. There isn’t much room for vehicles so people mainly walk or use scooters. The city is run by a government named ‘The Rainbows’, seven main officials running under a mysterious man named Iris. There is a mob going around causing problems too but they aren’t doing so well these days. Enter Roy Ran Red, a man who seems a little dizzy as he tries to protect a metal watermelon everyone wants. He works with his female friend Alexandria Dover who works as a pizza delivery girl part-time. Unfortunately she runs overs her customers most the time and attacked the mob boss causing the mob members to hunt her down.

Currently Orange has betrayed the organisation and has killed Red and Yellow along with trying to blow up a passenger train to make the government seem unable to control the events of the city. He is stopped by Violet though and starts a fight to the death. He wins by blowing her legs off and is ready to escape and start his master plan. Continue reading

Silent Hill

A videogame movie. Beware of videogame movies. Most of the time they tend to be droll with the exception of the Super Mario movie which was so bad it was good. I haven’t played the horror series Silent Hill but I’ve somehow ended up seeing the film. The horror, oh the horror.

The story goes like this; adopted kid goes a bit mad when she sleeps and to solve it the mother takes her to a ghost town called Silent Hill which is full of bad fumes due to the coal mines blowing up. Add a weird police officer who chases them down for some really lame reason and a father who goes investigating but not really achieving much and we have the general plot. Throw in a few weird locals and some awful looking CGi monsters and horror film is go!

The acting is terrible and the plot stinks but most horror films fail in these aspects anyway. the main goal isn’t to tell a story but to scare. Silent Hill fails though, it never cheaps out with jump out moments but the creepiness just isn’t there. This is due to the mutated people just not being scary, they look rubbish. Nurses with bad heads, a man with a pyramid for a head and some other smaller things which trot about, pretty lame. I can see them working in a game but in a live action film they just don’t work. The main characters never feel in danger either as it is clear the little girl is leading them somewhere and it all feels like a dark dream version of ‘Science of Sleep’. Continue reading
