Just because I had the pictures sitting on my camera. Plus people always want this type of information somewhere, probably. Probably not.

End of Second Term Year 2 2011

And I didn’t see much of the second half. Mind was elsewhere.

The final stretch begins though for year 2 as the deadlines are for early May. Four pieces to do and a month to do it. I may have made a lot of mistakes in the second half, but I’m ready to fix them. Plans down, work mode on.

When I did go to class I felt I was in deja vu land. Enough workshops to make yourself dizzy with. I think my pieces are coming along okay, just need finishing up with some ironing. I always have creased work.

Nintendo 3DS

The midnight launch was fun ( http://joerayw.wordpress.com/2011/03/28/3ds-midnight-launch/) and it was all to get this glasses free handheld. I chose an Aqua blue one because I like slightly garish colours (my Lite is Lime Green and my finger nails are luminous pink)  and while the day of anticipation and queuing may have worn me out, I still had the energy to crack it open and give it ago. Just going to bed would have been a total anti-climax after all!

A Rabbid being chased by two… what are they? The Rabbid is weird enough in itself, but these things take the cake. I’m sure I’ve seen them in some horrifying film somewhere, people in these type of suits always give me the creeps. I think the Rabbid should be able to overcome the fat green one as long as he doesn’t decided to roll over, but the pink lady looks to be quick and nimble, and slightly saucy. Ahem. Vermin control; if they catch that Rabbid it will be in some junk heap by tomorrow.

3DS Midnight Launch

5.30 a.m was the time I got there. The streets almost empty, the sound of birds screeching as they flew overhead. Walking down Bold Street was incredibly unusual. No people to walk around apart from the occasional seagull. Actually, quite a lot of seagulls. It seems once everyone vanishes till later in the morning, the birds rule the roost and I was the foreign object invading their night-time party. Still I had my own party to attend, even if it was a bit early.

KFC Godfather Box

The Godfather appeared suspect to me, rather than anything truly new and exciting for the KFC food range. What it appeared to be was a spicy fillet tower burger with a piece of chicken, a side, fries and a drink. Pretty much a Zinger Tower box meal with a standard piece of chicken rather than a hot wing. But I decided to try it, thought it would calm my nerves.
